This conference brought together over 300 real estate agents, from all different companies around the US and Canada. Many of these agents were Star Power Stars, like Laura Duggan, have traveled internationally with Laura Duggan or have been friends for many years. This was the 7th REV Conference. The Board of Directors of the Austin Board of Realtors recognized Laura Duggan for being awarded the Emeritus Designation by the National Association of Realtors on October 31. In addition to providing her with the award, a video of her years of service in real estate and to the profession, specifically service to the Austin Board of Realtors, was prepared and shown to attendees. The National Association of Realtors awarded Laura Duggan the Emeritus Designation for 40 years of service to real estate and the profession. To receive the award the designee must have been in real estate for 40 years and also served in leadership positions at the local, state and national levels. (September 2019)

Laura Duggan attended the National Association of Realtors Annual Convention in Chicago. She was recognized at a reception for Past National Presidents of the Real Estate Business Institute. In addition to participating in convention activities, she also attended the installation of the National Officers of the Residential Real Estate Council. (November 2017)
Laura Duggan accepted the position of Co-Program Director of the Austin Chapter of the Certified Residential Specialists (CRS) Chapter. The year appointment was to plan the training and information provided at the bi-monthly meetings. Laura’s prior experience as President of the National Real Estate Brokers Association made this a natural fit. (January 2017)

Congratulations to Katy Freshour for achieving the Million Dollar Guild (GUILD) lifetime achievement awarded by the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. The Million Dollar Guild recognition is awarded to residential real estate professionals in the Institute preforming in the million-dollar and above market. This recognition requires extensive formal training specific to the high end market and documented performance in the million-dollar and above housing market. Only 1.2% of the real estate professionals nationally have achieved this recognition. (July 2016)

Congratulations to Katy Freshour for obtaining the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation. Obtaining this professional designation requires a proven track record and a significant number of transactions and extensive classroom training. Less than 3% of all real estate agents in the country have obtained this designation. Katy is the 3rd generation in the family to be awarded the CRS designation. She follows her grandfather, Bill Woolsey, and her mother, Laura Duggan, who received their designations in 1990. (May 2016)
